Swift Dispatch was born to provide sameday courier service within the Greater Vancouver area. Up until this time, there had only been overnight courier services available. |
1970 |
Swift Dispatch became the first courier company to be radio-dispatched and in constant voice contact with the drivers. |
1972 |
Re-location of our company offices to our present site. The relocation provided us with 2,000 square feet of office space and 10,000 square feet of warehouse where we are able to offer storage facilities and distribution of goods within the Lower Mainland. |
1980 |
First courier company to introduce computer (automation) for enquiries and billings. |
1983 |
Introduction of a national and international document service to our growing list of services. |
1985 |
Introduction of computerized dispatching. |
1986 |
Extended our regular work week to include Saturday service. |
1994 |
Upgraded our operations to introduce the latest in computer dispatching technology. |

As technology continued to evolve and improve, so did we. We automated and computerized our operations from taking our customers orders to dispatching our couriers. |

introduced SWIFT CONNECT - a system enhancement to allow our valued customers direct access to our computers to: - Easily enter orders - Perform shipment tracking - Obtain POD (Proof of Delivery) information |
